So, not sure if I mentioned it anywhere on here but I have two Griot's Garage Brillant Shine Foam Cannons. One for pre-wash, and one for standard shampoo. Well after a few washes I noticed that if you didn't let the foam cannon dry out the metal ball on the end of the pick-up tube rusts. Huh!? Why in the world would Griot's cheap out on a $60 Foam Cannon and not use stainless steel for the pickup tube weight? So dumb, and quite frankly unacceptable. First time I've been able to bash Griot's hardware.
Anyways, the first pre-wash to be used in the cannon was Carpro Lift, this is when the rust started. After my quick no contact wash I pulled off last week(only dusty) I noticed that all the rust on the ball thingy was gone, in fact, it was shinier than new! The Bilt Hamber Touchless, after a few uses, removed and has since kept rust from forming on the pick-up ball thingy. Needless to say I was VERY pleased to see confirmation on a products performance, even if it wasn't on the car itself. This makes me wonder.... does regular Bilt Hamber Touchless use negate the need for periodical use of fallout removers? Maybe...only time will tell how clean the paints stays. But I figured I would share this here. Bilt Hamber is continuing to look more and more appealing to me.
