Can I get a recommendation?

I don't know if this is against forum rules, but I didn't see it in the forum rules.

I have recently become interested in taking good care of my cars using two bucket method, trim protectant, and wheel sealant. However, I recently purchased a used car and it has some swirls, and a couple of surface scratches that I am hoping to have polished out. I have a DA sander that I use for woodworking, and even if I could use it for polishing auto paint, I am a little leery of attempting a complete paint correction myself. I do not own a paint depth meter, and I'm not quite ready to invest several hundred dollars into all the equipment needed. :/

I am trying to find someone who can detail my car bringing it back to near new condition, so I can go forward maintaining it properly. I hesitate to simply rely on online reviews, as I am very nervous that a negligent detailer will go too far into the clear coat or something similar.

I don't see any requests for local recommendations on this site, but then again there wasn't anything explicitly listed in the rules against asking for or giving them. I'm located in Austin, TX.

Thanks, and I look forward to getting help with maintaining my car in the near future!

Nothing wrong with asking for a professional detailer recommendation .. hope one of our forum members chimes in soon.
