I have a situation. I recommended that my teen center buy 2 montana boars hair brushes to help during its car wash. I then explained that I would rather have them buy 2 really good broom handles to save on cost as they are expensive. Would this method work?

Makes my life 1000x times better.

So your saying if I did go and buy something like a contractor style broom with a metal tip, it would be fine?

the handles that u come with the Montana boars hair brushes are junk IMO . the threaded part is hollow and if u just happens to be a little rough with the brush it snaps right off . I actually bought a telescopic paint handle , made out of aluminum I think . works great , I can extend it to my liking and I doubt I'd break it .

Im just thinking of buying a metal tip handle . Like the ones you buy for the contractor brooms

telescopic paint extension pole is what I am meaning by .

them will work , fit but seems long , may be hard to handle ?

1 1/2' -3' extension.
Very solid to use, threaded end won't break off.

I just dont want to go up to 20 dollars for one like that. Im asking if the ones like the rubbermaid heavy duty ones with the heavy duty metal will work? Such as when you go to home depot, they sell the handles seperate?

Why not bring the brush and test fit it at Home Depot?

Yes. Get one. Test the thread fit @ home depot before you buy but, yes, it will 'work'. :)

It's a solid wooden handle. You can even use it for a broom handle to clean up the work area when done! :xyxthumbs:

edit: not meant to be taken as an a$$ response..

That red pole Cartman showed is the one I like the looks of. Anybody know where they're available?

I got mine at at fleet farm , lowes has them , I suspect Home Depot and menards would have similar or even any hardware store . look in the paint section

In the paint section of any store, Lowes, Home Depot, Menards, Ace, Walmart.

So I got to review these poles for the brush. I didn't like any of them. All metal or metal parts that could contact paint. Not what I'm looking for cuz accidents happen. I came home and found an old wood pole with non protruding metal rim. Anyway I have a good starter pole, now I need a good sale at AG. I was hoping another one of those 15 percenters but I guess I just won't load up if I can't get a sale and buy only the brush.
Thanks -

Dear Friends

I have the Montana Original Boar's Hair Brush and received the default handle with it.

My father-in-law broke it the other day. He said the tip is what broke. He put another handle on it that seems to work okay.

These are really expensive brushes. They should be sold with stellar handles.
