I do this just for fun. However, Microsoft has both MS word and Excel template invoices free to download. Many of my customers use quickbooks to design custom invoices.

Office does have some nice templates and it's free so no need to purchase any additional software.

If I could post how my invoice looks I would but it keeps saying invalid file...

just do a printscreen of your invoice, paste it into paint or other photo editor and crop then save and upload..
