This is my Xbox one. It is very swirled. Can it be fixed?
It's a shiny black plastic. Don't know if it's painted, or whatever.
I have V-line, UC, UP
Thanks!

I suspect UP will be the least aggressive polish, followed by V38. UC is probably in the V35/36 area. Start with least aggressive and move your way up. At first, you will need a polishing pad and then you can go to a finishing pad.

Just be careful how much pressure you apply.

The lightest I have is V38 and a black hexlogic pad.

I was thinking start out by hand honestly. Smallest pad I have is 5.5". My machine is a GG6.

I guess starting out with some UP or V38 on a white hexlogic with minimal pressure should work...

Yes you can polish that.

Use a light cutting polish and a light cutting pad. :buffing:

It's plastic and I'd say "yes" it can be polished. You might not remove 100 percent of the swirls and scratches but you can definitely improve it.

Stick with the Meguiar's Ultimate Compound with either a foam cutting or polishing pad and then re-polish using the Meguiar's Ultimate Polish with a polishing or finishing pad.

:)

I'm glad I'm not the only one that wants to have an entirely "swirl free" existence Im the MAN

Thanks Mike!
I'm not expecting to remove them all for sure. It's quite bad!

Same issue with my PS4. Hand polished it with Ultimate Polish and it cleared right up!
