can you wash a car cover?

Hey all, I've got a real nice Cover King cover for my Stang. Well after the long winter of hibernation the cover has a nice layer of dust on it. I'm more concerned about any dust on the inside of the cover. Is there a good way to wash these? can you just throw them in the washer? Thanks

Yes, they can be washed. An industrial sized machine at a laundry works best. Instructions vary by material type.

Check Cover King's site for instructions for your material type.

It may be too big to fit in your washer or may absorb too much water and throw off the bearings in the washer as it may get heavy. Try going to laundry mat if you want to be safe
