I wouldn't recommend putting a cover on a car thats going to be stored outdoors

I don't like outdoor car covers either.
The wind will move the cover around on the body and can damage the paint. I don't
care what kind of car cover it is, some dust will always work it's way between the cover and the paint. Then it is a perfect grinding compound.
The only way that might work would be a flannel cover intended for inside use. Then a car storage bag with the covered car inside it. Then a good sized awning over the whole thing to keep the UV off the plastic bag and flannel.
Probably be easier to get one of those portable garages like they sell at Harbor Freight.
