I have 4 Ultimate Guzzler Waffle Weave towels that work great to dry off my black crew cab. Would you suggest a car dryer to help prevent swirls and scratches and not use the ultimate guzzlers?

I have an Air Force Master Blaster and it does an outstanding job blowing the car dry.

I have a leaf blower and it does an outstanding job of blowing the car dry. Then I tend to follow up with a spray wax and a drying towel to finish.

I just got a DP dryer and it does a great job. But I still follow up with a waffle weave. Down here in Florida in the summer you have to wash early in the am before the sun gets to hot or you have water spots all over dark colored vehicles. They dry before you can wipe them dry and imho it takes longer with a dryer. So I'll see how it goes ina month or so. It was 90 in Tampa today, no spring for us.

Hey, i hear ya custmsporty. I use both also. I blow dry as much as i can of the big stuff off first then use a couple WW MF towels to make quick work of the remaining. I don't want to even try to completely blow dry a vehicle and run the risk of finding some dried spots here or there. Especially on my black paint.

Nowadays...whenever I'm to wash vehicles:

The types of "drying tools"...whether they're powered or manually operated...(along with when/how they're to be used by me) are dependent upon factors such as, but not limited to, the following:

-Ambient air temperature
-Vehicles' panels temperature;
-Wind-speed/Wind-direction/Wind-chill;
-Humidity/Dew-points;
-Sheltered or outdoors;
-Time restraints, or lack thereof;
-My personal physical and mental states-of-being;
- "The Good Wife"

:D
