Car Paint

hey guys i couldnt really find a section for this topic so i posted here i would appreciate any one with knowledge on this would reply. so basicly i have a toyota corola 2010 it is a silvery grey (dont know exact name) so i really dont like the color i want to have it repainted to either jet black or a real dark blue. i was wondering if any one know a estimate price range this would fall into. i know no one could put a exact price and i know there are different types of paint basicly i want good quality paint and it deffinitly needs a clear coat (no 1 stage without clearcoat) want it decent quality but not to top of line where its going to cost a crazy amount of money. like i said i know no one can get it exact but and estimate would help or even a web site i could go to and get more info i just want some number in my head before i go to have it done and have some one try to rip me off THANKS guys

Around $2000 for a car that size that is straight. You might paint it for half that yourself with shopline or an equivalent. You must have a buddy with some spray equipment and experience, right?

Really, you might be closer to $2500 changing colors. You'll almost always end up correcting/perfecting the paint yourself anyhow when you hire a production shop.
