I went to a local char show and Dyno day at Pikes Peak Racing facility and got to check out the Nissan GT-R that Randy will be racing up Pikes Peak next weekend. Even got to meet the man himself. If you don't know who he is, lately he the guy Motortrend hires to get their published lap times on all the review car(YouTube). He is also a factory sponsored driver for Mazada, Volvo, BMW and Porcshe. He's a very accomplished SCCA driver, and two time 24 hours of Daytona winner.

Very cool. He is the man! Would love to see him vs the current stig head to head for lap times on the same track sometime.

Yes he is, sat there and talk to my wife and I for a good 45 minutes. Said he hit 125mph in practice going up the mountain!!!
 
Man he's the real deal! Seems like a pretty down to earth guy too. What a job to have to be a test driver for Motor Trend Magazine and race all types of cars.....Way cool and great photos
