Entered my first car show, which is this Saturday. Friday night I'll get her cleaned up and ready, but I'm sure there will be some bugs and dirt accumulated on the 45 minute drive to the track. I have ONR, Blackfire waterless, and some quick detailers. What's my best bet for a quick spot cleaning before I give her a quick detailing? I'm thinking diluting the ONR or just using the Blackfire. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, TIA :xyxthumbs:

Um, ok, thanks? I have enough products right now. Just looking for some advice for my situation.

If you already have ONR and BF waterless you really shouldn't need anything else depending on how dirty the car is from the trip to the show. If it's more dirty for a waterless you can always bring a gallon of water and mix in some ONR and do a quick wipedown. Then follow up with your favorite QD and enjoy the show. :)

If it is a show car borrow or buy an enclosed trailer and tow it to the show. Once you there roll the car out and bask in the glory of your perfectly clean car. I have been using an open trailer for my track car, I can't wait to get an enclosed trailer to keep it clean during transport. Nothing more frustrating then love-bugs smashed on your perfectly clean windshield.

The product Mike mentioned has been getting awesome reviews. Might give you edge in your category.

Yeah as I am die hard user of WD WDPS I have recently gotten the new BF MS Spray Wax, it's awesome and could be the game changer/closer. It definitely brought the pop back!

I detailed this Camaro a couple months ago. I recently had the opportunity to try out the new WG product on it. It had only been washed twice and no QD or any other product had been used since I detailed it. I topped it off on the hood as a quick test, and keep in mind the fact it was blazing hot out and not ideal conditions to apply any product.

Good Luck at the Car Show this Saturday!

Hope the weather turns out to
be nice in your area of Ohio...

Be aware that many Concours Events actually prohibit trailering your vehicle to the event unless you live a certain distance away.

Porsche Club of America for one

Ha, that's a little overkill for my situation. My car is a daily driver. I "entered" so I wouldn't have to park away from everybody else. Not expecting to win anything, just don't want to be embarrassed by a dirty car. Thanks for the tips :dblthumb2:

What kind of car is it? Pics?

I always get dust on the back of my car on the way to shows.

I remove it with Poorboys spray and gloss. Works great in the sun!

2014 Dodge Charger. Would love to post some pictures but my downloads always fail here.
I do have one picture in my album. That's the only one I can upload.

Hmm.....Lewis Center, OH.......45 minute drive to the track......2014 Dodge Charger......

You wouldnt happen to be going to the LX & Beyond Nationals at National Trail???

I was supposed to be driving down from Cleveland area with my 2006 Chrysler 300 SRT8, but some family stuff came up.

Enjoy the show! I've been previous years, and its pretty cool seeing all the 300, Charger, Magnum, and Challenger enthusiasts all in one place.

Yep, you guessed it. Can't wait. Just finished with a 3 hour detailing and I am whooped. Learned a valuable lesson, DON'T let Maguires spray wax dry before buffing, you'll need a chisel to remove it. Car looks the best it has in the 6 months I've had it. Will take some pics tomorrow.
