What are you using?

Looking for comfort and something that doesn't stink after getting wet

Thanks!

I use "Mucksters" from Muck Boots. com. They are a bit pricey but I have had them several years now and they have held up real well - no leaks, tears, etc. They also have a nice heavy tread. View attachment 26666

I use Skeletoes slip-ons made by FILA. They are around $20-$25 and I have had mine for a few years now.

Do they breath at all? My feet tend to get hot

Thanks for the tip. They do look comfy

:)

$10 pair of cheap rubber "barn boots" from Tractor Supply.

If I go to the power wash place, I just slip them off before I get back in the car.

I can't find those anywhere on Google search

Yes, I've worn those shoes for a couple years. Very comfortable from day one. It depends on how wet you plan to get. Obviously if you dunk your foot in water it wont be pleasant, but the shoes can basically get soaked from spray and your socks will still be dry.

I don't get as wet as I used to washing, so these are perfect for me. I swear when I first started detailing I needed a complete wardrobe change after washing, lol

Flash...

I use the easy on/off: Four Buckle "Arctics"...(over my work shoes).
I remember hating to have to wear them when I was young. But my feet were always dry!
Wouldn't be without them now. :xyxthumbs:

I like to use water shoes. Just go to amazon or google and search for water shoes.

Been using them since I was a diver for royal Caribbean cruise lines back in the '90s

Full rubber CROCS.

Not pretty to look at, but they get the job done.

Crocs loose their tread quickly and become dangerous with wet floors. Chaco candles are perfect for the summer. And you get a SWEET tan line in the shape of a "Z"

I wear my waterproof work boots for washing and drying then just change into sneakers for the rest of the detail

I just wear tennis shoes. Never had the need for waterproof shoes for washing cars.

I like a black pair of nike shox. They sit high off the ground so my feet never get wet when stepping in water.
They're made out of a fake looking leather.

I don't mind my feet getting wet as long as the water has somewhere to go. Walking around in soggy tennis shoes all day would throw my game off BIG TIME

I wish there was another option that looked more stylish, but it looks like I will be purchasing a pair of croc's

Thanks to everyone who took the time to respond to this thread
