:mad:Well, CarBrite just came by and informed me I can no longer get their Tire Sheen because Indiana has gone to VOC-compliant only on detailing products. They sold me this Purple Dressing II instead. Shame, because I really liked the Sheen. Also got this awesome mango scent, some more Cherry Bomb soap, and Crystal Shine polish.

So far the Purple Dressing looks horrible on the tires. It hasn't fully dried, but I tried spraying it directly on the tires and wiping the excess with a rag, and also applying it with a foam applicator, and both look like it's drying with lines all around the tire. Uggh. I may have to call them to come get it before they leave town.

Anyone used the Crystal Shine polish?
Also was wondering if anyone has tried the Easi-off Blue or Yellow paste wax Carbrite carries.

They just come to the dealership that I'm the service writer at, and I'm tasked with getting the products and supplies, since our wash guy is very, very dumb. For my own detailing business, I mostly stick with Meguiar's stuff, but have great hopes of upgrading to Poorboy's, Wolfgang, Pinnacle, and others from Auto Geek very soon!
I don't have my phone with me to send pictures of how this dressing came out, but it's not good. :mad:

I have no experience with these products, but I found this line very, very funny! Your wash guy probably puts all sorts of swirls into people's paint anyway, so you could say the owners of the vehicles going through him are pretty dumb, meaning they don't care what the tire shine looks like.

Our owner calls him "Moose" or "Mongo". They don't take wash or detail customers here (thank goodness) it's just the lot vehicles and sold cars. Moose is about to get fired, since my father will soon be back from his surgery. He's detailed for 47 years, but I'd say he puts swirls in too. He just don't really care anymore.
 
Indiana huh. :D If you want something that is like Sheen I'd suggest going with Meg's ASD.
