Whether your trucks are abused or babied, we all strive to keep our seats clean, protected, and comfortable. Covercraft has a cool way to keep your seats clean with the Carhartt SeatSavers. I had the pleasure of installing these covers on a GMC Sierra Denali HD.

  • Protect seats from sun, dirt, workweek abuse
  • Breathable, heavy-duty duck fabric
  • Durable Water Repellency (DWR) finish for spills
  • Strong overlapped, double & triple-stitched seams
  • Clean in home washer/dryer
  • Great for kids, dogs, construction work

Some issues with owning tan leather seats: ALWAYS have to be cleaned, dye transfer from blue jeans, and typical wear and tear is more visible on tan

Prepping the seats: Clean and condition the leather seats first. For this we used the Pinnacle Leather Cleaner and Conditioner before putting on the seat covers

The Covercraft seat covers not only look great but are individually designed to fit each truck or SUV application. There is no “one size fits all” nonsense :xyxthumbs:

Front Seats:

The edges all the way around the seat covers have elastic tension bands sewn into them and heavy-duty nylon straps with snap buckles so they stay in place. Once the covers are slipped over the seats, the elastic and the straps pull them tight so they won’t sag or slip around

The storage pockets on the back of the driver and passenger seats are perfect for the work and daily driver vehicles. The pockets are heavy-duty enough to hold everything from tools and books to magazines and toys.

I really like the way the nylon straps secure the covers to the seats. When you slide into the seats they just stay in place

Conclusion: These seat covers are simply amazing. Not only are the covers just plain cool, but they are designed and constructed just like the pants and jackets (rugged and tough but still comfortable). I'm originally from Michigan and the Carhartt brand up there is HUGE. I have no doubt in my mind that these seat covers will protect the leather from mud, dirt, water, food, dye transfer from blue jeans, grease, etc... The GMC leather seats are also perforated meaning that when stuff gets in them, it's almost impossible to get out. The Carhartt SeatSavers will protect the perforated seats like none other. Just like a new pair of jeans, the covers were fresh out of the box so they were a little wrinkled. I expect them to smooth out and conform to the seats because of their custom-made design. The Carhartt SeatSavers also come in a gravel color (black) as well just in case the Carhartt brown isn't your first choice. With 2 people installing these covers, it only took us about 10 minutes. You can easily install these by yourself. Thank you for looking!

Carhartt Seat Covers? That's cooler than all get out. Carhartt makes great clothing and I'm sure these seat covers fit and wear just like their clothing counter parts.

Thanks for the review Andre! They look great in the truck.

Excellent! Are you able to order a set for just the back seats? I can see my brother in law loving these for his brand new truck - it would help him protect the rear seats from the mess his kids create.

Great question Angus. The Carhartt SeatSavers can be purchased for the first row or the second row separately. These seat cover are definitely the ones for the job :xyxthumbs:

Anyone that is familiar with CarHartt knows the quality of the material, but these covers are over the top. They fit like a glove, the fabric is great quality and I don't have to worry about a seven year old getting marker on my tan leather anymore!
Highly recommended!

COVERCRAFT seatsavers wear like iron! They are a polly cotton drill material. I ran them in all my vehicles. THE BEST SEAT COVERS. I just cant bring myself to cover the leather in the xterra.

I love Carhartt stuff...their brand is my primary Winter jacket.

However, I'm not feeling these seat covers. Maybe it's the color or the fact they need ironed...dunno. Looks odd to me.

After a day or two on the truck all the wrinkles are gone, they fit tight so after they settle in they look good.
As for the color it's definitely a CarHartt color, they do have two choices available.
Seat covers are not for everyone but if you have a kid or a dog they are a must to save the seats!

In short...

...even though they'll wear decent they'll fade faster than the evening sun. Speaking from 25 years plus of wearing the winter work gear.

Let me ask you,

How do the seats look after you take off the covers :xyxthumbs:

They will look good enough that you won't want those faded covers back on them.:D:joking:

I erased my original comments because they were a little harsh and I realize you folks are trying to sell an item, so I wanted to be somewhat mindful of that while still giving an honest reply from experience.

That said...

Cotton duck fabric wears like iron. Just be mindful of how many times you wash them or get them repeatedly wet or that fabric will begin to wear quickly in high abrasion zones.

Here's a tip:

A healthy coating these seat covers with a product like 303 Fabric Guard will not only give them some UV protection it will also make them highly water resistant. Another product would be Never Wet Fabric spray as a waterproofing coating that would be awesome.

Hitting these seat covers with at least one of these products would make these seat covers even better. Coat them soon enough, and well enough, and all you should really have to do to clean them is simply wipe them with a damp rag and then add another dose of your waterproofing of choice.

Make mine Filson.
