Caring for toyota softex seats

Softex is toyota's synthetic leather.

Meguair's forum per 1 of their online mequair's techs...only use damp towel to clean..which is toyota's recommended care instructions.

Any thoughts suggestions?

Im okay with this but would think that maybe they should be conditioned at some point to prevent cracking/hardening?

Conditioning typically keeps the animal hide soft. If the material is truly synthetic, there isn't anything to condition.

I've found the key to keeping synthetic interiors looking good is ensuring the surface is clean and regularly applying a good protectant.
