Hey all, just wondering... What is your favorite carpet cleaning supplement to use on those real bad spots. I found that turtle wax makes a great spray that seams to really get the stains lifted. I dont have a carpet extractor but i do have a very powerful shopvac and a mccullugh steamer. Pretty much a poor mans extractor lol Im the MANWas just seeing what people prefer on carpet cleaning agents and the process for those of us that are not up to the 1000 dollar extractor range yet.
My personal prefrance so far is first to vacuum the spot. then use the turtle wax agent on the part im working on, let soak for about 2 min, then take a hard bristle hand brush, give it a good rub, then take the steamer and split the carpet into smaller sections and steam it real good, then come back over with the shopvac for a final clean. Seems to work pretty good so far and has done well on some nasty stains. What about you guys/girls??
