What I thought were just a few spots of glue turned up to be alot of glue. At first the few spots were not a big deal but after shampooing the extent of the glue became obvious. After 3 hrs of soaking with 3M adhesive remover and Goof Off and scrubbing with a tooth brush and carpet brush this is as far as I have gotten.

Cut your losses.

Time for some WeatherTech's ;)

Yeah, I guess my humor isn't a hit tonight.

Just thought I'd reply earlier to bump your post to the top. :/

Time to consult a professional then, someone skilled in carpet restoration.

As I noted in your other thread on this carpet, you can find one via the web site IICRC

It is frustrating that it is taking so long. I think I might be at this for a couple of days for this one piece. I haven't looked at the others, don't want to, at least for now.

Left a message with the only company IICRC pulled up for me in my area.
