Hello everyone! can someone tell me how you make the lines in the vehicles carpet. Ive searched everywhere and cannot find any threads. I think it really stands out and looks awesome when done.

Thanks Kyle

Sometimes it happens as a natural by-product of the carpet extractor if you are slow and precise.

But I do it with a regular brush anyway. Simply for the fact that it shows that I gave attention to every square inch. And yes, it looks sharp.

One column up, next column down, etc.

Don't over think it!

The best way I can illustrate it for you is a cat... or dog.

When you pet them head to tail their hair lays down, when you go tail to head their hair sticks up and looks funny.

That is what you are doing with a brush or what ever tool you choose. The carpets do not have to be wet at all. They have to be clean though or mostly clean to get a good contrast.

Alternate the direction of the tool---extractor,
vacuum, brush:
-Pull towards you to make one line (stripe); then:
-Push away from you on the next stroke of the tool...
making sure it's parallel to the preceding "stripe".

Editorial:
Although I personally don't care
for the "striped-look"...
I suppose it's to give the customer some sort of an
assurance/(impression) that every square inch of the
vehicle's fabrics...carpeting, mats, seating areas...
were totally cleaned and not just "spot cleaned"?

Thank you all for responding, much appreciated:)

Not all carpet will show carpet lines so be careful you might do more harm than good. Get a brush that is not to stiff but more on the stiff then soft side. Lightly mist the carpet brush down then go up
