I saw this product today at an auto part store and was wondering if anyone had any experience using it. On occasion I might have a few stubborn stains that don't completely come out of a carpet, but never justified using this. Anyone with experience please chime in.

I'd love to dye my carpets on my 96' GMC so if anyone knows of a good product to do so please let me know.

Ive use it on my wifes van were the gray carpet turned a little yellow after cleaning, but only on spots not the whole carpet.

Many years ago I tried both 'a' carpet and fabric spray...they both worked well. BUT, it was darn near impossible to get an even looking coating. Always looked splotchy and streaky after it dried.

It may have been strictly due to lousy spray heads of the era...don't know.

Well, yesterday while talking to another detail guy he mentioned he used regular spray paint, your just paying extra for the "carpet" stuff. I immediately thought, won't regular spray paint make the carpets hard. So I went home pulled a mat from my truck and had some same colored spray paint laying around and what do ya know, it worked! It did give the carpet a bit if a stiff feel but I just ran my hand across it a bit and the feeling went away. So now I have a new trick in my bag. Not to mention you pay $8 a can for vynil/carpet spray paint or $2 for the regular stuff
