Carpro Cquartz Finest - Cure IR Lamp

Hello everyone :)

I have purchased Carpro Cquartz finest. I have already had a course, but they didn't use a Ir-lamp, so that point is a bit confusing.

The method of applying the coating is OK (wash, polish, clean with eraser etc.), but i don't "know" is for how long i have to cure the coating with my IR-lamp ? The manual says "a few minutes".

I google it, and found out that about 10 minutes are fine.

Does that sound OK? What about temperatures on the panel? I found out that Modesta Coating likes it around 60 degrees C when its curing.

I have this IR-lamp:
SPEED DRY 200C

I was thinking something like this:
1. Wash the car wet degreaser and surfexHD/Foam, iron-x, wash with 2 bucket, clay etc.
2. Polish the car (of course) using Rupes system
3. Carpro eraser to remove any oils
4. Apply coating (2 layers on each panel)
5. Cure the paint (10 min on each panel)
6. Drive home :xyxthumbs:

Ok or not?

are you sure you got the Cquartz Finest?
since its not sold in public and only to authorised detailers

if it is the Finest can you send me by PM where did you buy it?

If someone has ever been a CQ-ish bad boy...

I hear that IR-Lamps are an excellent tool,
when giving a suspect: "The Third Degree"!!

ANY CarPro coating (regular, UK or Finest) will benefit from an IR light. I usually do it for about 5-7 minutes per panel and situated about 2 feet away from the surface. DO monitor the surface for excess heat.
 
What does the IR light do? Are the panels cured as soon as you use the light?
 
Makes the coating harder and glossier.

Is there another way of making it harder and glossier without an IR light? Like a heat gun or something.
