I've always used Blackfire Wet Diamond sealant on my car and have been very happy with the results. I do everything by hand, and although this takes me a long time, the end result has always been well worth the effort.
I've been reading about Hydro2 and watching videos, and it just seems like such a great product. The amount of time it would save me would be huge, but I wouldn't be willing to save a few hours if the protection wasn't up to the level of quality of the Blackfire. I understand that the protection may not last as long as Wet Diamond, but it's so quick to re-apply, that wouldn't be a consideration for me as long as the level of protection it provided was good enough. I also use Aquapel on my windows, so the idea of just spraying Hydro2 over everything sounds pretty appealing.
So for those of you who have used both, how would you compare the slickness, beading, protection, etc. of these two products? Also, how does the performance of Hydro2 on glass compare to Aquapel? Thanks!
