Hi Everyone!
I've just ordered and received my first bottle of CarPro Reflect from a supplier yet unknown to me, and was surprised to get a bottle or product that has practically no seal on it. In the past I've ordered various other CarPro products (albeit from different sources) like Reload, CQuartz, Trix, Reset, which were all fluids, and either had the regular threaded bottle cap with safety release mechanism to seal them, or were shrink-wrapped, to ensure they don't leak.
However, Reflect - which is more a cream-like product - came in a completely different bottle, that has a cone-shaped dispenser on it, with just a transparent, easily removable cap on top (see this picture). Also, there was no peelable seal under the dispenser cap either - like how it's on for ex. Meguiar's similar products (where you have to unscrew the dispenser cap first, remove the glued plastic seal, then screw the dispenser back on, to start actually using the product).
Now my question is: do CarPro polishes really come without any product seal/safety mechanism, that would ensure they do not leak in transit, do not dry out, and are generally in their genuine condition? Or did I just get a lemon?
Also the actual product I've gotten is CarPro Relfect "Limited Edition", and has been manufactured back in the summer of 2016. Is that any different from the current product line?
Thanks for your help.
