Hey guys,

Can I use CarPro Reload as a QD diluted at 2:1 or full strength as a quick detailer? I have the new version and I'm not sure if it's any different from the old. It's going on a car with Cquartz UK.

The old version was a little different,my opinion is better than the new.still a very outstanding product,and yes you can use it on top of cq. I use it full strength.Hydro 2 maybe a option as well.

Does it effectively remove light dust and bug splatter/bird diarrhea if I use it at full strength? I tried finding some stuff about using Reload as a QD but found nothing.

I was also considering UWWP for a QD and have Wolfgang detail spritz on hand but I'm not sure if it's okay to use on a coated car.

Using reload is a quick spray to give you maximum protection.bug splatter and bird bombs maybe in the lines of traditional washing or a qd that will clean it.wolfgang is a very good product and won't remove the coating.reload is more of a maintenance booster for the coating.using it full strength can be a little oily,especially if you are using it outdoors .

That would be a pretty expensive QD.
{But that's just an opinion of mine.}

Regardless...In your opinion:
After reading Reload Sealant's product description...
Does Reload meet the "QD-criteria"
as outlined in the below articles?

As Mike Phillips says in the above article:
"spray detailers are first and foremost positioned as products for removing light dust, if used wet or heavy and with good technique, that can substitute for a high lubricity waterless wash".

Thanks for the help guys. Since it's that time of year where AG is having sales, it won't hurt to get some UWWP and a pump spray while using reload as a lsp. You guys are great!

Use a waterless wash to remove dirt, dust, or bird poop. It's always going to be safer than a spray wax, spray sealant, or QD.

I would not suggest Reload as a QD. Mix up some QD in a spray bottle (I use the Kwazer bottles) from what ever rinsless/water less wash you are using. A CQUK coated car can be boosted with Reload ever so often if you feel the necessity to do something to the coating. I am trying to resist the urge to over maintain.

My cars are CQUK coated, I currently use IUDJ, UWW+ or the new Wolfgang rinsless wash. I just purchased the new Wolfgang and really liked it. I use the CarPro Merino wool wash mitt with a 2 bucket wash and which ever rinsless. One vehicle had been Reloaded 5-6 months ago the other has not been reloaded. Both still look awesome, the key is keeping the coating clean.

Sweet! I also forgot to mention that I have some ONR for when the car gets dirty enough. I took advantage of the sale and got myself some UWWP and 303 aerospace protectant.
