Good evening fellow geeks! I have a white Nissan Xterra with 2 issues I would like to take care of ASAP.
First and most importantly, TAR! We had a nice(ish) weekend here in mid Missouri so I gave her a much needed bath yesterday and noticed quite a bit of tar on the lower doors mostly.
The second issue is rail dust. I had noticed this a while back but I really started looking closely after the bath yesterday and noticed it all over.
Upon research,I came across Carpro Trix that claims to work for tar AND iron. Sounds like exactly what I need. I just can't figure out why it is cheaper than buying Iron-x but also works to remove tar? I read reviews here and a couple other places and they were generally good but I don't want good. I want great
.
I have no problem spending a little more money buying separate products if it is worth it but like everyone else, I like to save money when I can. So what do you guys think? Will I be ok with Trix or should I go with Iron-x and pick up some Tarminator for the tar issue?
