Cars at Stuart, Florida Car Show - 4-10-13
Every Tuesday night there's a local car show that I try to go to and check out all the cool local cars... here's a few pictures...
Cool Charger although the paint needs some polishing help to really finish her off...
The guy that owns this truck bought in new in 1971 and then he and his son painted and installed the blown engine 24 years ago...
Patina...
Most old cars like this that I see have horrible looking paint in that it's always filled with swirls, this old Dodge actually had a pretty nice finish...
Couple of 3-window Coupes...
This 1934 Chevy was on the second season of our TV show...
Nice Mustang...
Ken, one of our Thursday night guys started out with a swirled out Mercedes-Benz, after learning how to machine polish at our Thursday night classes he bought everything he needed and put a flawless show car finish topped with Fuzion on his MB.
Classic Mercury Monterey...
Not sure why but these old Town Cars just won't die... theres a bunch of them running around town...
This classic 1939 Ford actually has a VERY nice black finish but it's due for some claying and machine polishing. I talked to the owner and we might see him here with his car in the future...
Self-portrait with my wife Stacy and our dog Majito...
I'll guess this old Buick weighs 6000 pounds...
There were a few Shoebox Chevy's there too...
Here's Tim's 57 looking fine!
Here's Jim's 57 also looking fine...
Ivan hanging out on the air filter...
We had Tim's 57 at Autogeek for a Show Car Makeover and she's still looking swirl free in the sun...
Jim, Louie, me, Stacy behind me with Majito and Tim...
This 56 had a very nice candy apple paint job... and actually in very nice shape...
No swirls...
More later... I have a deadline for a hot project...
