Cars for Second Season of What's in the Garage TV Show - Thread 2

600_WTGLogo.jpg

We start shooting our second season on January 9th, 2012 and we're going to a lot of cool cars.

What we're looking for...

We're looking for a wide spectrum of vehicles to choose from, this means new, exotic, classics, hotrods, streetrods, antiques, basically anything you could call Special Interest with some kind of human interest story.

Here are a few more criteria for having your car on our TV show.

  • Vehicle must lend itself well to a detailing tip or technique - This is basically a show-n-tell session.
  • Vehicle must be in in good physical condition, that is no dents or wrecks
  • Vehicle must be brought to Autogeek's facilities

Since most people own, drive and work on "new" cars, (less than 10 years old), we're looking a selection of new cars, truck and even S.U.V's for the show.

We also want "COOL" cars that will attract "Car Enthusiasts" and "Do-it-yourselfers".

If you live within driving range of Stuart, Florida and would like to have your car considered for use on the second season, then send me an e-mail with a picture of your car.

[email protected]

This last Saturday night I went to another local car show to find unique and special interest vehicles for the second season of our TV show.

I apologize ahead of time for the lousy photos, I brought my trusty, dusty Canon with me but somehow left the memory card in my work computer, so I made do with my iPhone 4, looks like it's time to upgrade to the iPhone 4s just to make sure I always have a good camera with me wherever I go...

With that said, I spoke with most of the owners of the cars below and except where noted all have agreed to let us use their cars on our TV show.

I've sent the link to this thread to Butch McCall and Ted Jones, the producers for our show so they can make the final decision as to which cars make the cut or not...

This is an updated thread to the original because I've added more pictures of cars that I checked out this last Saturday night.

The link to this thread is being sent to the producers of our TV show so they can click on ONE link and see all the potential cars versus me trying to format and send dozens of e-mails with picture attachments. (too many problems)

Please feel free to share your thoughts and comments about this collection of cars...

As a matter of fact Mike P.,I was one of the first one's to email to the advertised email you put out to AG Forum last year, for the (1st) season of "What's In the Garage.I was interested in you coming to see my Pristine Black WS6.
I never received an email telling me "No Thanks" and you never came knocking on my garage door.Must of not wanted to come north(probably written in your contract)? :poke:

When I make a mistake, I'm the first one to acknowledge it and apologize.

I apologize.

It's not like me to not reply to an e-mail but it does happen. It's hard to keep up all the time.

Also, the producers of the TV show pretty much decided the locations we would shoot not yours truly. I also didn't have much of a say on any of the car choices. I actually really like the WS6 Trans Ams, especially the way they designed the air scoops on the hood.

Not sure what else to tell you... except thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Mike,I was just having a little fun.

You do a righteous job contributing and supporting this forum and wasn't asking for anything more. :dblthumb2:
