Cayron on the seat

My wife drives a mini van (ok, yes I drive it sometimes too). She left some crayons on the front seat (cloth seats). The Texas heat welted them and made a nice Jackson Pollock on the seat. Any ideas on how I can remove the mess and damage?

Im gonna leave this to the forum as I have never melted crayons, but what type of seats ?? Leather or Cloth ??

Steam, Steam Steam. Stiff Bristle brushes. thats all I can say, at work we use hot water extractors.
