Hi All

I used 2 brand new orange ccs pads yesterday and after use I wash them and stick them facing down on a rack to dry (as per normal). After they had dried I went back and found that they were much softer. this was after the first use! They were used with M105.

Any ideas? or is this normal?

I know what you mean about 'seeming' soft.

From my experience, it does NOT hurt the cutting ability. You'd think that it would, but doesn't seem to. Same thing with the yellow ones too.

I've noticed this as well and for some reason my white pads always seem firmer than the orange......:dunno:

My orange ccs pads have always felt softer than my white pads.

As others have said, it doesn't seem to affect the cutting ability of the orange pads. Also, in regards to the people that have softer orange pads than whites, I too have that same "issue", ignore my choice of words.

Thanks for the replies guys! I have noticed that with the white pads as well! I wonder why they do that?

You could shoot an email over to Lake Country and ask then directly, even forward this link for reference. I'd be curious to know why their white foam pads are firmer than the orange and even resemble the firmness of the aggressive yellow pad....:props:
