this morning. with gas nearing $4/gal something had to go. anyway, i am really a non user. never used it in the last 6 months i would say. guess i am the odd man out. i never lived on it 24/7. and still have a home phone. and i have hands free calling in the GMC from on-star. i just felt i was throwing $37/month out the window for something i never use. i was with AT&T. they really did not put up a fight. they tried to keep me on $20/month emerg. plan. i refused. i have been meaning to cancel it for months now. so its done. one less bill!

yea. tech is just crazy. they do everything now but serve a beer! i know a lot of people got rid of their home phones, and just use their cell. i see it at work. every last second of breaks are used on the cell. guess i just dont get it. something that was introduced to be used in a emerg. just blew out of the water!! i know for a fact if you would take some peoples cell away, it would be like cutting their right arm off.

Is your phone rooted? That just means you have programmer control over it and can make it the bad Evo it should be.If not I can help you there and the phone will totally be yours to control and you can use all its features.

I personally don't think I could ever get rid of my phone. I use to have a blackberry for work and personal, so I got rid of my personal blackberry and down graded to a dumb phone. Well since then my company has gotten rid of company phones for some people, so now I'm stuck with a dumb phone. Thankfully I can upgrade at the end of the month.

I don't have a house phone and my cell phone is my company, personal, and home phone!

I'm getting a blackberry for $20 more in my plan for my company business phone. Sprint is the company to go with I have my bros phone, and mine in a family plan I pay $160 a month so we split the bill. I don't remember how many minutes it comes with but you only use your minutes when you call a house or a landline number. Unlimited text, internet,gps, great signal. My evo is 4g so I love it. So adding a 3rd cell il be paying around $180 a month.

yep. $37 got me 200 anytime min. 1,000 night/weekend. long distance/roaming.

i do hear stories of $200-350 / month cell phone bills! damn, hey if they can afford it more power to them.

Sprint is awful where I am. honestly up until about a year or two ago AT&T was awful too, but they have come around. I'm with Verizon. With my dumb phone I have 400 anytime minutes, free txt, free long distance, free nights and weekends. I only pay $50 a month.

When I upgrade to whatever I'll probably be paying around $80 a month. And I don't want to have to carry around 2 phones. So having 1 is nice.

No way! 2 iPhone's with unlimited texts, 2 unlimited data packages (1 per phone), 700 minutes on family plan. Will be going soon to get my wife a new phone on Verizon to test out the service for 1 year.
