Tried Cerakote Black Trim sealant for the first time. Pretty sure I didn't apply it as well as it should be. Luckily I only did one side for now (should have used the front bumper as my test area.)
I didn't get it applied smooth/consistent, it did have some streaks. I figured anything that's streaky maybe should be levelled (no mention of levelling in the instructions.) After about 10 minutes, I lightly wipe it with a mf towel, it was sticky, however, I wiped anyway. Once it dried later, standing back it looks amazing, up close I can see a few streaks.
1) should it apply evenly? holding the wipes in my fingertips maybe was an issue; pressure isn't even so I had to wipe back/forth to cover completely; maybe should have put the wipe over a small mf block pad for more even pressure
2) did wiping a bit off reduce it's durability (I could top it with WETS but that might alter the satin finish)
3) are the streaks worth trying to smooth out; the average Joe won't notice them

Any tips/suggestions before I do the rest of the car would be great. Thanks.

When I used it I ended up going back after it dried and doing a second application. That took care of most of the streaks.
