Hi I'm after some ceramic coating applicators that I can use all around the car, guards, bonnet, door handles etc.

These will be disposed off after use, I have heard this is the safe way.
Is there any other use for them after the coating?

I have seen Autofiber, but not sure which one suits?

Any other ones?

Don't waste your money on the TRC pearl puck. They are not good. Stick with autofiber or the link posted above.

I like the block/seeds.

Not a fan of microfiber applicators.

Autofiber makes a suede version of their applicators too.

I think I came across them. Really nice deal too. Something like 50 cloths for $15.00. The CarPro was $64.00 for the same amount.

I meant in applicator sponges. I seem to get it done quicker and more comfortable if I don’t have to hold the suede’s on.

These have the waterproof backing so they don’t absorb into the applicator and the softer foam core contours better to the surface.

Wow! That looks like it would be fun to use!

It just seems so wasteful to always be throwing those crusty applicators away. The other guy I work with uses the microfiber covered foam blocks. We go through SO many of them. We are transitioning from the Chemical Guys to the Autofiber Savers though. We were sent a bunch with our last Xpel order, and he like those way more.

Cut them open and save the inner foam for foam applicators.

Autofiber Coating applicators. They save product and work great. Heck I even recycle the ones I used for coatings for tires and junk duty. :)

I like them as tire applicators. The new popular make up brushes use a lot of product. I apply with the saver and then use the brush to level out in the grooves.

The AFS definitely uses less product than the old Speed Master sponges I used.

FYI went to order Autofiber Mini price for x2 + x2 Portion dispenser bottles $371 so I pulled out. Freight is $311.

Bumping this up.

Roughly how many applicators are used for a single coat, like Gyeon Mohs, just the applicator it comes with or will I need more?

One will do but I would order extra just incase you drop or something happens to that one. I like to keep 20 or so around.

Good for applying sealants and tire dressings. I prefer the 3x5 thin ones but keep the coating block shaped ones around as well.
