Have you bought that product already? honestly I wouldn't. Glass is really hard and you need a very powerful machine to properly polish glass to remove scratches and pitting from rock chips. even then its cheaper to replace the windscreen.

if your windows has water spots try distiled vingier or lemon juice. or try compound like megs m105. compound and polish will remove any water spots. thing is your DA with any pad and compound won't be able to remove really any defects.

I have used 5.5" LC pads, both orange and white and yellow on windows. just be mindful of pressure, that you don't break the glass. and tape the trim.

The glass doesn't have any pitting, just some light scratches/swirls. I was under the impression ceriglass could be used with a DA, but a rotory was recommended.

I would like to know as well, I purchased this for use with my PC XP to polish waterspots off of windows

I am pretty sure you can use with DA. Of course a rotary will work better. I would use an orange pad. Just using a compound may help but glass is tough to polish. I'm pretty sure the ceriglass should do a better job than a paint compound since it is designed for glass and not paint. I will be using this weekend with a DA and will let you know.

It is pretty cheap... give it a try!

You're right Ted. :dblthumb2: You can remove fine scratches with the D/A or at least the 3401 which I used. I assume the others will work as well. Yes, it's time consuming but other than that...

Right, paint polishes aren't capable of cutting the glass in other words removing scratches but they can easily clean dirty glass and remove the deposits from hard water. If water is etched however the glass polish would be needed same as if it's scratched.

I look forward to hearing your results. Do you have and glass cutting pads?

Read this and watch videos. There are some stuff on ceriglass with dual action thanks to Corey!!
