So I got some carbon fiber mirror housing for my 2006 GTI MkV and they were used and would like to clean them up a bit. I do not know if they are gel coated, clear coated, or polyurethane only. Is there a way to tell, or is there a safe polish that you can use on them. I do not need anything aggrisive just want to get rid of some surface issues that can only be seen in bright sun and at angles. Would a non-abrasive polish be better or very low abbrasive polish be fine. If so anyone recomend a porduct, hopefuly something I can get local.
