Hi Mike & Everyone,

Couple of questions about Blacklight:
1. Does it have any (even light) cutting ability?
2. What would be the best product from the below list to top off Blacklight:
- Opti-seal
- Menzerna power lock
- HD Poxy

According to CG, it has zero ability to correct swirling and hazing, but some first hand accounts, combined with a write up from a product tester who used it on every car he saw for a year suggest that it's a great AIO.

You can top it with other sealants or carnauba prouducts after its allotted cure time but everyone seems to love CG V7 following BL applications.

I have the BL & V7 combo sitting on my shelf but haven't had a chance to use them yet.

+1...just got the BL V7 combo in last week but haven't used it yet.

It has very fine abrasives in it. I can absolutely guarantee it as I found out the hard way...however with no pressure or applying by hand as you would apply a wax, it doesn't have any correcting ability. It can be topped by any sealant or wax.

I've only used it once and I can tell you from that experience when combined with a black pad it won't remove clay bar marring from hard paint. Maybe with a crimson pad or something with a little cut? I ended up using Optimum Finish Polish on black first, then followed with Blacklight. It leaves a crazy slick surface though!
