CG citrus wash and gloss - little suds

Hey mike, I was wondering if you may be able to theorize as to why I have very little suds using CG W&G . I used the 1oz per 5 gallon bucket recommended ratio for maint. Washing. I diluted 1 capful in a 5gal bucket and then mixed the soap with my hands and topped it off with pressure washer to create suds. As I was washing the Car,I noticed very little suds on the mitt and it didn't seem to hold much suds at all. It was as if I was washing the Car with water.

Conditions:
Wash done at DYI bay ( says anything about water harshness?)
Used a sheepskin wash mitt
Transferred 8 oz of soap from the original 128 oz container to a plastic 8 oz dispenser( Anything in the transfer would mean something about what kind of wash soap is in the 8 oz container vs in the original 128 container?)

You said '1 capful'. Here is how much 1 capful is.

What the...chemical guys said all their caps are exactly 1oz..how does that work??
 
Pretty sure their caps are not 1 oz. Maybe their 1 Gallon bottles are.
 
I wouldn't worry about the suds, as long as it's lubricated. I have still have my CG citrus wash and gloss and it's one of their many shampoos that is very lubricated.

I got around 7ml (1/4 oz) in a 16 oz cap so your measurement looks close to mine.

It does not help they use conflicting information (caps per gallons, ounces per gallon, and dilution rations like 1:4000) and none match.
 
I've tried measuring a capful too, and it's not close to an ounce. CG's measuring claims in their videos aren't exactly...exact. They repeatedly say that diluting a 16oz bottle of a given product at say 4:1 makes 4 bottles of diluted product. (??? 4:1 = 5 bottles, etc).
Try the Mike Phillips one or two "glug" method. And shake it well first, as stated above. The stuff makes suds like crazy in the bucket, but you aren't going to have shaving cream like foam on the car using a regular wash mitt. It's the liquid solution that does the cleaning, not the bubbles.
 
Most capfuls from most mfg's are NOT 1 oz. Very easy to verify.
 
A capful from the gallon jug works pretty well, but a 16 cap definitely not enough. I think it also mixes better if you use a hard stream of water to do the mixing. I thought it said in the instructions to use a hard stream of water to mix it?
