Hehe, I hope I don't kill myself.

Just yesterday I was on my way to work and I was almost side swiped by these chicks in a VW. I locked my back wheel up and its got tipsy. I just let off the brake and it caught up and straightened out. The Hiabusa next to me saw it, got it front of the car, and brake checked them and cut them off a few times. I was surprised to see the brotherhood between bikers that you don't even know. It was nice to see someone on the road having your back.

Nevertheless, it' an 03 Suzuki SV650s. Nice cheap bike that I can beat the living crap out of. 13k miles on it.

Sorry the pics are kinda dirty, I washed this morning and didn't bother to take new ones.

Nice bike! It sure is fun to drive, but that fun is kinda dangerous.

Almost bought a new Gixxer or R6 but having a bike down here is like having a suicide wish lol. Crazy ass drivers.....

lol, at the time of my gf taking random pics, the helmet was at her foot :p

lol, i just fille dup last night, 3.7 gallons, roughly $13 to fill it! hahah, awesome! and I can expect about 300-350 miles out of the tank. amazing. Im the MAN

I'm surprised that the Hiabusa next to you was tempting fate by cutting off a car. If some stupid biker tried that with me, I'd run his @$$ right over, HAH!

Yeah, I went back and read that. Crap like that makes me so glad my brother got rid of his.
 
my dad used to tell me that he would pretend he was invisible when he rides, it makes you more aware of what the idiot drivers around you are going to be doing because they wont see you. bikes are quite fun so enjoy riding it! goes without saying, but always wear your helmet.... leather jacket/pants is a good idea as well.... i know its hot, but when you hit the pavement you will be wishing you had some quality leather protection on your skin, trust me
 
Nice bike. Summer toy? You live in FL, can't you pretty much ride all year? Also, how long have you been riding?

Trying to decide between a used SV1000 or R1100S (Don't fit on a Ducati) to get back and forth to work. Its three miles and takes 20-25 minutes in the car. I love LA.
I weigh 220 and climbing so a 650/750 will not really do it for me but I also don't need a hyper-bike anymore. Reflexes are not what they used to be.
Wear the Helmet! Culture shocked at new Arais being over $600.
Avoid prolonged sidewards flight!

Friends Busa...motor worked over...n/a and scary fast, almost impossible to keep front end down in 1st 3 gears

absolutely awesome! have fun, but more importantly wear the helmet, be careful, and keep your eyes open...no showing off. that leads to the er!

just to answer some of the other questions... its a summer toy cause i just got it this summer, yea we can pretty much ride all year. ive been riding dirtbikes since i was 8 and streetbikes for a little while now. i love it.

i just have to pay more attention to the other idiots on the road, more so that i already have been in the car. the fact that i can go 400 miles for $13 is insanely awesome.
