Good morning from Texas!

I read a recent post saying that this APC is safe for all wheel types. But is it paint-safe?

I am currently using OPC, and happy with the results, but I am looking for something a bit more cost effective. I think CG All Clean+ might just fit that bill.

I use Meguiar's APC on paintwork all the time. It's perfectly safe, you just need to use the correct dilution ratios.

The bottle has dilution ratios for interior and exterior uses. I've used it during the winter on paint without problems. I sprayed the entire salty/grimy car before pulling into a carwash bay, let it sit a few minutes, and then sprayed off. After that I usually drive home and do a rinseless.

I use All Clean+ on my wheels/paint (plus interior surfaces/carpet) - it's perfectly safe, it works, and has a high dilution rate--their APC's/degreasers are some of the best bang for buck of any vendor.

I use it and it works great. Ive used it on stubborn exterior stains before at 1:15 with no issues. IIRC, CG recommends 1:10 ratio for exterioir use.

Yes, AC+ is 1:10 for exterior and 1:20 for interior. I'm switching to Megs though, myself. I was using BF and then decided to try some AC+. Like the BF better than the AC+. BF is kind of pricey though. So many good reviews on Megs that I'm going to try that.

In their YouTube vids they always clean tires with 1:10 dilution ratio, is that really effective in properly cleaning a tire? In their videos when they scrub the tire after applying AC the stuff doesn't lather up at all. It's hard to believe, for me anyway, that it really cleaned the tire.

APC's used as tire cleaners generally will not foam (unless it's something like D101) - a lot of people have used Megs D103 & Optimum Power Clean to clean tires and those don't really foam either. Next time I use AC+ to clean my tires, I'll post a review/pics.

I use OPC to clean my tires and I agree that it doesn't foam up but you can still see some brown lather. After the second treatment you can clearly see minor white lather. My main question is, is AC at 1:10 effective on tires?

All Clean + is pretty strong I have a 16oz bottle of it and as well a 16oz bottle of Diablo Gel. I use All Clean+ to clean the engine whenever it gets dusty.

Thanks for the helpful replies! I have it one my wishlist and will be ordering soon.

I plan to wash the wife's car this weekend and her tires are pretty dirty--I'll clean the tires with AllClean+ at the 1:10 ratio this weekend and take pics.

I used AC+ at 1:10 with a vent brush to clean around/in my emblems for my spring detail. No issues at that dilution. I even cleaned the lower black plastic grill and it didn't stain or cause any problems.
