Hey guys,

Was just wondering if anyone has used Chemical Guys InstaWax spray wax? And if so, would you recommend it for your lower level details as a quick way to wax a car?

Cheers!

Optimum Car Wax. Lasts up to 5 months.

Megs d156 is also a great spray wax, it's cheaper and the durability isn't nearly as good as OCW.

To be honest its not as quick as you think. It takes longer to buff off than meguiars d156. When you apply it, it almost seems like your applying an actual wax(on the way it hazes up. If your looking for something really quick I would suggest d156.

Butter wet wax is good and can be removed instantly or leave it to haze, I prefer CG P40-Detailer with Carnauba or CG Carnauba Spray Wax to be honest.

I usually just use a Megs Cleaner Wax for all my low end details, but got some Instawax for a quick "top-up" wax fr my personal cars, thought it might be a good idea to use it with clients.

But what you guys say is true, not as speedy as it sounds!

What sanson12 said, I have it and it does feel like your applying a liquid wax from a spray bottle. I bought just to try it, but I rarely use it now.

V7 is CG's best quick detailer IMO.

Pretty much my feelings atm. I don't mind it for when I've only got a half hour to do my own car, but I don't think it's something I could effectively use for clients

+1 to all of this, I like d156 as well but the longevity of OCW is unmatched, in terms of a spray wax. Application of OCW is quick and effortless, as well. For only 11 cents more per ounce, OCW is totally worth it in my opinion.
