Chemical Guys Microfiber Wash + Microfiber Cleaning Detergent 16 oz.

"Chemical Guys Microfiber WASH+ is not thick shampoo; it is a uniquely formulated, concentrated, aqueous mixture of hospital grade surfactants, hard water softeners emulsified with a d-limonene Citric stain and spot extractor, formulated to eliminate stains and spots rapidly without jeopardizing individual fibers.

Chemical Guys Microfiber WASH+ is a cleaning detergent for all your microfiber towels and accessories. Regular washing with powder detergents or retail washing detergent is harmful to the microfiber. Many strong retail detergents will destroy the absorbency of towels. Chemical Guys Microfiber WASH+ is engineered for microfiber only.

Simply add 4-5 capfuls of Chemical Guys Microfiber WASH+ to your wash to clean, restore and maintain microfiber, time after time.

Microfiber WASH+ not only leaves your towels clean, but it removes lingering bacteria and oils that may otherwise not be removed. Wax, polish, compound and most chemicals build up in the fibers and compromise the cleaning ability of microfiber. Using inferior household detergents leads to rapid discoloration, deterioration and stiffness, which greatly reduce microfiber's natural absorption ability and longevity.

Chemical Guys Microfiber WASH+ can be used for more than just microfiber. It is also recommended for cotton, chamois, buffing pads and even delicate work shirts.

Directions :

Add 2-3 ounces to the washing machine for a full load. Add one ounce for a small load. Do not use any type of bleach or fabric softener when washing microfiber. Tumble dry on low heat or no heat."

Price- $8.99 for 16oz

Washed my mf towels with CG mf wash. Directions states 2-3 oz. I only used 1oz and got good results. 3 Cap fulls equal 1oz

Regular wash with warm water and dry on low.

Overall I was very pleased with its cleaning ability. It got rid of about 90% of stains and left the towels clean and soft. The price is decent especially since at 1oz you will get 16 washes of the small bottle.

great review. i wondered how it stacked up BF and the others.

David, no kidding the BF MF is the ****!!!
It will clean better than CG, but leaving the towels more soft and plush

I use CG's mf wash as my main wash. Its never let me down besides the stains that wont ever come out no matter how many washes or pre soakes. Doesnt matter anyway since if its stained that bad it gets replaced :)

great review, i was eyeing this for awhile but now i cant decide with the BOGO of BF

CG and BF microfiber detrgents are my go to's!

CG detergent makes a great pad cleaner too!

Nice review, I used the entire bottle of CG for my towels recently. Good stuff indeed

For really dirty mf towels put a little bit of the cleaner in a bucket and presoak them and agitate them with your hands for a minute or two. Then when you put them in the machine, they should come out much cleaner. Most times, mf cleaners will be enough for towels that are not that dirty.

CG and BF microfiber cleaners are a great bargain when buying by the gallon. Both work great.

I wonder if they work better in HE washers. Mine come out a little bit better, but I do presoak ones that are extremely dirty.

Great review, I too have Chem guys and I have used it a few times, on semi dirty towels it does a great job. But the towels you have pictured I would use BF wash to get the stain out. But I must say my towels do feel softer after Chem Guys wash.

I agree. I have both in my utility room and I go back and forth between them. I believe the Blackfire to be the better of the two in terms of cleaning ability but both are very good. I want to edit this to add that these two products work even better if you soak your used towels beforehand in hot water and a scoop of Oxi-clean stain remover.

Does anyone else use a free and clear liquid? (Never used powder free and clear.)That is what I have used for years with no issue. Does a great job at stain lift and fluffiness and absorbency. Am I missing something by not switching to a dedicated mf detergent?
