Chemical Guys P40 Detailer Spray

So, over on CG forum, I swapped some V4 with another forum member for a 16oz bottle of this. I was intrigued by this product, because it has carnauba in it. I watched their video, and it seemed like a good product to try. (It's not that I didn't like the V4, but I have three other AIO's on the shelf). Being a little bored the other night, I tried it out on the hood of my daughter's Hyundai. The car was a little dirty, and it was the perfect test. It worked exactly as advertised, and left the hood with a nice slick gloss. I've no misconceptions about the very very thin layer of wax it puts down, but it cleans well and the wax is just a bonus, as is the bubble gum smell. Since then, I tried it out on the door jambs on my wife's vehicle, with very good results as well.

I know CG products do not always get a lot of love, but this one is a winner in my book. It will occupy a spot on my shelf, until I find something I like better.

I quite like their Synthetic Quick Detailer.

I would put this ahead of P40 in terms of gloss & cleaning power. Then again a bit of apple to orange, since Quick Detailer is that of sealant gloss, while P40 is shooting for that nuba effect.

V07 & Speed Wipe might be glossier (in listed order), but none are as punchy for the more stubborn mess; comparable to Poor Boy's Spray & Wipe.
