Unfortunately I did this coating almost 2 yrs ago and wasn't part of the forum yet and also didn't take any pics. However, my impression of the product is still fresh in my head. Also note that I'm located in Hong Kong so a word of warning, alot of owners have their cars "cleaned" daily. What this means is a bucket of water and rag dragged over the paint and wheels.

I used this on 2 different cars, a 2013 Mazda Atenza (Mazda 6 in the states) and a 2014 MB Cla 250.

Both the car were relatively new and "clean" so I did a 2 bucket wash of the cars + wheels and then clay. After which we went to a single stage polish using Mequiar's G220 DA, their older version Foam polishing pad and Ultimate Polish. Did a IPA wipedown and proceeded to apply the Second Skin 6. The product goes on super easy and leaves almost no high spots. I did one panel at a time, apply then wait to see if there are high spots then buff. Let the coating cure for 12 hours then went and added another layer. Finished off with CG Jet Seal and Butter Wax using G220V and Megs Older Foam Finishing Pad.

Overall the finished product looked extremely glossy and had a very smooth feeling though that could also be the jet seal and butter wax. Unfortunately the owner of the Mazda 6 sold the car shortly after but his new buyer did note the condition of the paint and was extremely impressed by it.

The Cla 250 being my in laws car I was able to see the effects after normal washing upkeep here. The car still looks amazingly clean though he's never had a proper wash. The smoothness is barely there anymore as I haven't followed up since the coating. Water beading has gone down alot.

One thing about the Second Skin 6 is the applicator sprayer tends to leak so there is some product wasteage. Also, I noticed that the megs foam pad absorbed alot of the product during application. It's practically soggy.

That's very true, though I usually try to prolong the life of coating by adding sealant and wax on top as extra protection.
