From what I have read, the product itself is excellent. It removes tough stuck on grease and muck and does work where all clean is just not strong enough. Not mention with 1 bottle if cg ssod it dilutes to 6:1 to one. So my issue isn't necessarily with the products performance, it is with this oddity that seems to occur when you leave it in the bottle it comes in. I have seen pictures of bottles leaking and effectively being broken down by the product inside. Please voice your inncidence if it has or hasn't occurred and what you think if the product, I am almost out if all clean and wanted to get something a little different but I can't have things melting and leaking everywhere. Lemme hear ya

I have a couple gallons of it and have had zero issues with them leaking.

I think the gallon and 16oz bottle material is different? Nope?

Where are they selling gallons of signature series orange degreaser? Have never seen that

If its breaking down plastic bottles, DO NOT make the mistake of using this product on ANYTHING clear plastic like your headlights, gauge cluster or clear bra material. Same goes for your interior piano black or carbon fiber trim that is typically coated in a clear plastic coat.

I always avoid APC's that are not clear plastic safe. Ive been burned (no pun intended) by products that behave in this manner. They will reak havoc especially on clear film (what the chemical is actually doing is softening the plastic), hazing the crap out of it. Requiring polishing to remove the haze.

Over the years Ive learned the easiest way to tell if an APC is clear plastic safe if to transfer some of the product into a sensitive 4oz sample spritz bottle (the ones AG sells), allow it to sit undiluted , then remove the product an hold the clear 4oz bottle up to a light. you will notice a distinct haze in the plastic were the product sat.

There are safer offerings instead IMO. Products like Optimum Power Clean, P21S TAW, Infinite Purpose Cleaner, Meg's APC+, the new DP APC Plus (from the description stating its clear plastic safe).

The only thing I would buy from CG would be their shampoo.

Is there a difference from the signature degreaser on their site, and the Extreme Orange on AG other than the label?

As for their products, they are growing on me. I like the Diablo for maintenance washes as it will not strip the sealant I have on my wheels. Their Citrus red shampoo is a good one to use when stip washing, but i guess it is being fazed out, as it is not on their site any longer.

I've had d-limonene products break down the internals of sprayers, and dissolve various "plastics" (or whatever they were).

It will also take black top off a driveway.

If it's d-limonene based, yes, it requires resistant bottles and sprayers.

Good stuff, strong solvent, non-toxic, but....it requires a strong cage and being selective about where it goes.

The CG pint clear plastic bottles are not very heavy duty. I had MF cleaner in one for about a year and the slight squeezing of the bottle to get the cleaner in the wash machine caused the bottle to leak from the middle. It's not like I was crushing the thing with my hand or anything.
I also had another one with vinegar that I used less often, and if you hold it up to the light it had distortion on the sides like the plastic was changing thickness or losing integrity.

The ones with product in that I didn't use that much seem okay, but be careful if you use those bottles to dispense product too often.

They upgraded their bottles not to terribly long ago to handle the product
