I've said it before and it's time to say it again, I love this stuff for interiors. It's been 5.5 months since I applied it to my interior so I figured I'd do a 50/50 to see how much it faded. Here is the result:

Absolutely no fading of the product at all which I find quite impressive. Only my wiper and turn signal stalks and climate controls showed minor fading of the product which makes sense as they are touched quite often.

Here it is on another car to show how it looks initially. Silk Shine is on the right and notice how it is dark, matte, and streak free unlike the product on the left.

For interiors, this product is just so easy to use with long lasting results.

that's pretty impressive longevity. Also very clear that the product of the left is super streaky on the smooth plastics, with no such streaking from silk shine. I used this for a long time on tires, still do on occasion. May have to reconsider this for interiors, it may be cheaper than PERL depending on my PERL dilution.

How is the vehicle stored daily? Spend 8+ hours outside in the sun?

It depends. It's outside 24/7 when I'm home, but at college it's garaged but still sits outside maybe 40 hours a week.

I'm there with you, it's pretty much the only product I use on the interiors. I like 303 too, but my numero uno is Silk Shine, and it smells fresh and leaves a nice clean kind of new car smell too. It looks great, not shiny, lasts long and most importantly dust does not stick to it.

Just detailed my daughters car with her today, she inherited the wifes 09 Altima and she did her first interior detail. She loved the stuff.

Right there with you OP. I absolutely love Silk Shine. Only other product that has really peaked my interest is Wolfgang cockpit sealant

One of chemical guys better products. Also really like Einszett-1Z-Cockpit-premium.

Still love it. Just put it all over my new car's interior and it just makes everything look so good with so little effort. Easily my favorite interior dressing.

Love that stuff,it's so dialed in not to much shine or dullness smells great too.

Does it have UV protectant like 303 does?

This is my interior protectant/dressing of choice when a slightly glossy surface than factory ia desired but not over the top glossy. For quick wipedowns and factory finiah is desired I use Chemical Guys inner clean.

:iagree:

Still my go to interior detailing product.

I love the stuff too, it has the correct name, silk shine is awesome.

Unfortunately my father practically wasted my whole gallon spraying tires like armor all.

I can't get those old school ways out of the guy.

He still thinks palm olive cleans and leaves the best shine better then all the premium car shampoos we have. Lol
