Hi all,
Here is my review of chemical guys tire kicker tire shine spray. I will start off by saying that there are CG products i have that I dislike, some that are middle of the road, and some that i really like.
Application: Using a tire shine applicator, application is easy and fast. The shine is immediate. It also doesnt require a wipe down like many other products
Staying power: I would put the products staying power at midle of the road. Meguairs tire gel lasts longer, but other spray products did the same or less.
"Flinging": Ive found that many products will fling onto the paint once you drive if you do not wipe them down after application. Meguiars Gel coating is particularly bad on this front. The CG coating in my experience has not demonstrated this issue.
finish: The finish makes the rubber look new and damp, it doesnt provide a "wet" look, but its also not a completely matte finish either.
Overall:
I like the product, its easy to apply and doesnt fling product onto my paint. The longevity isnt anything to write home about. If you want to detail your car once a month and have the tires looking dressed until the next detail this probably isnt the product. If you want something quick and easy for a car meet, or a weekend trip, this will serve well without much effort.
