i payed my first visit to chemical guys the other day to pick up some of their products which i had no complaints about but i could not help but notice a couple of things while there

I have been going to 3D which is across the street from my restaurant to purchase towels, brushes, bNs pads, wheel brushes applicator pads etc
what i found at chemical guys were the same exact tools found at 3D
same spray bottles with same sprayer options, same wheel brushes, same wash mitts , buff n shine pads look the same as the CG hexlogic pads, and the microfiber towels are the same ones that CG had with the same exact color, tag and font .

really makes me wonder if they just have the same manufacturer since these are generic cleaning supplies and not chemicals or if 3D might be affiliated with CG? i have not yet compared the prices so i cant chime in but i would be curious if anyone has compared polishes, compounds for similarities

ive heard that chem guys do private labels (smart wax etc)

im not afraid to admit im wrong so if theres something i dont know please lmk

Yes they are the same. 3D stores are popping up everywhere Cali.

do you know this for a fact?
are you saying this towards the detailing accessories or including the products lines (HD)

I do not think 3D is associated with Warner Chemicals. There are only two major sellers of foam pads so either you sell Buff and Shine or Lake Country so not much coincidence and if you notice many brushes, applicators, etc. sold by most sellers are from the same sources.

i just got back from 3D right now
and bought a couple of things and im about to go look up prices on chemical guys to compare

okay so
i got this red waffle weave towel for $2.99 vs $6.99 ]

Chemical Guys MIC_707_1 - Glass and Window Waffle Weave Towel, Red 24" x 16"

got 3 of these towels for $10 (one yellow, one blue and one red with green
) vs $6.99 for one
Chemical Guys MIC_1102_01 - Monster Extreme Thickness Microfiber Towel, Blue 16" x 24"

interesting

Detailing accessories I find at many detailing supplies stores are all the same. I don't think 3d has any affiliation with chemical guys. If I'm correct they have their manufacturing plant in Santa Clarita.
