Chicago Pneumatic Cp7201p 3" polisher
This is a great little polisher and have had mine for years. My backing plate has seen better days. Has anyone who has one of these replaced their backing plate, if so from were and what brand. CP backing plate is @ $30 a more than a fourth of the polisher that I paid $100 for, I would hate to pay that much.

The Chicago Pneumatic CP7200S Mini Random Orbital sander works great for polishing aluminum, sometimes I will take it all the way 1500 wet/dry. It uses the same Velcro backing plate so if you can help it would be appreciated.

If you have been using the Hookit 2 disks, just call the 3M rep. He will replace your backing plates free since they discontinued the Hook 2 and replaced with the Hookit 1, the change is required.

You can get the reps phone number at any Body Shop supply.

Regards,
Stephenson

Yep, just get the S3BP from Meguiar's and I'm sure you'll be pleased with it :)
