Buy the paint chip repair kit or wetsand kit from Autogeek, and go to paintscratch.com for a touch up kit. You enter your car (& vin I think) and paint code and they have a list you can choose from. Get the brush kit (for like ~$20). It comes with paint, clear, rubbing compound and laquer thinner. It is great. They have instructions, follow them. Then just wet sand and buff when you are done. Should look like new.

I did two coats paint. Let cure for a few days. Two coats clear (or until it is a little above you current clear), cure for a few days. And then wetsand it all flush. If it is a small chip, use a tooth pick and not the brush they give, it is easier.

I gotta admit, I love the commercial with the Sharpie markers in all those colors, and the one that bumps the car. Funny !

Thanx for the info gents. So what grit should the sandpaper be??

The paper that comes with the AG kit is 2000. I wouldn't go any lower than 1500.

Also, you may want to find an old car, old panel, or hidden spot to practice wet sanding on. I practice all these things on the underside of my old spoler that I pulled off. It would suck to try this on the hood and realize that you did somthing wrong.

I also seem to remember a how to on autotopia, linked to here, but can't find it. You can try searching for a good how to here or over there.
