Chipped Paint

My wife has a 2006 Silver, 4 Door Accord with a couple of minor chips in the paint on the hood; same thing fro my daughter's 1999 rec 2 door Civic- anyone have a favorite system? AutoGeek carries a brand but I'm clueless about what works and doesn't. Thought? Suggestions?

How deep are the chips? Are they down to the metal? Sometimes you can use a compound or abrasive polish to move the paint around to hopefully fill in the chips. But sometimes, if it's too deep, you have to fill it in with touch-up paint.
