Choice of pads

Hey friends, my wife surprised me with a FLEX XFE7-15 and I’m gonna get a 5in backing plate for it. What pads would be the best for that machine. I’m wanting microfiber and foam pads. Thanks for your help.

uro-tec 6" yellow and maroon. (very similar to rupes yellow and green with better durability at a lower price point)

Best MF cutting pad IMO is the LC HDO Microfiber Cutting pad. The uro-fiber 5" pads are great too if you're a fan of exact fit pads.

Meguiar's MF is great but poor durability makes them too expensive IMO. They need to either upgrade the foam interface and hook and loop material to something more durable and resistant to heat or at the very least make a center cooling chamber for using with long-throw polishers.

Boss MF is also a good option especially for working on convex surfaces.

The best I've found for 15mm long throws are the euro techs
