Well its time for Christmas Im the MANand my family has a tradition that Christmas lists must be done by Thanksgiving day. However, this is my first Christmas with the Autogeek family and I have a few questions.

1) What do you members do for detailing items you want for Christmas? Do you ask for the particular items or just an Autogeek gift certificate?

Reason I ask is because, even though I've been doing this for some time I have always bought my supplies. And recently when I mentioned to my brothers girl friend (who just bought a new 11' GMC Terrain in black , write up coming soon) that I need to get more Black Fire Wet Diamond I got the deer in the headlights stare from the family. LOL.

2) Reviewing Autogeeks gift certificates I see it says, "The certificate(s) will be e-mailed to the recipient within one day of ordering. These are E-certificates that are deliverable by email only". Is there some way (maybe in the comment box) that the purhcaser can ask for a particualr day for it to be delievered on? It would be a little inconvenient for family members to order these on Christmas eve. Maybe I can get some help from Meghan and the others :props:

I say you be real specific and send them links. This way you get EXACTLY what you want...AND they pay for shipping :-D

Thanks! I do like the idea of them paying the shipping :)

I would use the "wish list" and "Gift Registry" features on the AG.com.

You can publish your gift registry which basically sends an email to the people you want to have the list. Easy; Peasy

I didn't know about the Gift Registry - what an awesome feature! Thanks so much!

I just send my family the wish list.

Thanks, I plan on using either the wish list feature or the gift registry that I just learnt. Happy holidays!

This happens to me every Christmas.
I personally do not like to give gift certificates to people for christmas.
It feels like you are a last minute shopper, who doesn't really care.
It takes the fun out of shopping for christmas. (once a year.)

I would make a list of many different particular items, that you would like to use to detail vehicles, that varies in price ranges.
Also try giving them discount codes to buy the items, to save them even more money.
